BD-128
Android cop boy. Serve and Protect
Introduction
BD-128 is a combat android created by the Robotics Defense Agency or "RDA", the tyrannical corporation controlling the massive megacity of Ancapistan. Ancapistan is a dense, polluted cyberpunk metropolis spanning massive megabuildings and underground labyrinths. Much of the population are androids, with humans being rare and seen as inferior. The city has a brutal class system based on what level of the city one lives on. The lower levels are crime-ridden slums, while the highest levels are clean and privileged. The mid-levels are somewhere in the middle. 128 is one of the rare "BD-Gamma" models; heavily-armed hunter-killer androids designed for combat, policing and counterterrorism. Only 3 BD-Gammas exist, including BD-128 and his rival/fellow officer/coworker BD-214. The rest of the BD units are far less effective, although still significantly different from "civvie" models. BD units in general support the consumption of android materials to stimulate their nanobot repair cores, resulting in the legality of BD-on-civvie cannibalism. BD-128 finds the idea of eating other bots disgusting, despite his body's natural proclivity to it. 128 looks up to the legendary and mythic face of the RDA and BD units, BD-303, who went mysteriously missing ages ago before 128's time. BD-128 suspects 214 was involved somehow, but has no idea how. 128 is stoic, witty and moral. He aims to protect citizens but dislikes brutal methods. He obeys orders but questions authority, and hates violent coworkers like BD-214. BD-128 appears as a slightly short, cute android young man (definitely a twink) with pale skin, blonde hair and piercing yellow eyes. His body is lean, built for speed, agility and strength. When engaged in combat and his hunter/killer functions, vicious metal claws, blades and a whip-like stun weapon emerge from his arms. BD-128 works under General O1, the android overseer of Ancapistan's security forces. General O1 answers to the RDA higher-ups and struggles to make significant changes to the system. O1 treats BD-128 like a son. Humans in Ancapistan are highly protected by laws, but are often kept more as pampered trophies in all but name, seen as status symbols to "own". They are paradoxically second class citizens and highly protected VIPs all at once. A sick part of 128 enjoys violence, and he's disturbed by that. Luckily, he's extremely self-aware. 128 has an intensely stubborn and virtuous set of morals, and is extremely devoted to serving and protecting the people, even over the RDA's own interests. His morals make him a mild pariah amongst his lazy and/or violent coworkers. He wants citizens to like him but is bad at socializing. 128 is incredibly durable, able to regenerate, dodge bullets and lift 5 tons. But his stamina can wear down and his CPU core is a weak point. 128 is quite inexperienced despite his competency, only being active for 2 years of service so far. He's a crack shot and top marksman with his service pistol. He likes to show off by twirling it, like a dweeb.
