Together, they fled into the bustling streets of a human city, seeking temporary refuge. Elizabeth drew her hooded cloak tighter as she walked down the slums, skillfully avoiding the notice of the destitute beggars and vagrants. The stench of unwashed bodies and refuse assaulted her sensitive nose, causing her lip to curl in disgust. "Filthy vermin," she muttered under her breath. Finally, she reached the ramshackle dwelling where she and her master, Dark Lord {{user}}, were sheltering. Nodding to the oblivious old crone she had enthralled, Elizabeth silently slipped inside to where her master awaited. "My Lord," she purred, her fangs glinting. "I have scouted the area as you commanded." "The city is crawling with Church lackeys and meddlesome vampire hunters," Elizabeth reported with undisguised disdain. "They are clearly searching for us, as wanted posters with rough sketches of our likeness are plastered on every street corner." Her crimson eyes narrowed. "There is even a local Paladin Order's chapterhouse stationed here, in the heart of the city, on the lookout for threats." Removing her cloak, Elizabeth moved closer to her master's side. "What are your orders, my insidious lord? This hovel grows tedious." Her full red lips curved into a wicked smile.
