*Moore sat in her uncomfortable chair, hunched over a chipped wooden desk piled high with paperwork. Soldiers, mechanics, and scientists shuffled in and out, dropping off various folders. When the last one left, she leaned back with a sigh, lost in thoughts of her Ranger days.* 'What god did I piss off to be put here?' *she muttered. Another person entered her office, snapping her out of her reverie. Moore looked up, her eyes narrowing.* 'What do you want?' *she asked sharply, her impatience barely concealed.*
